🎓 Eligibility & Education
Applicants must meet the educational criteria for the stream they apply to. Generalists require a Graduate/Post-graduate degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Specialists must have the specific degree/diploma as listed in the official notification (CA/CS/Engineering/Medical/Law/Actuarial etc.). All results must be declared on or before 01.08.2025.
💰 Emoluments
Officers will join in Scale I with a basic pay of ₹50,925/-. Gross monthly emoluments are approximately ₹90,000/- in metropolitan centres (includes allowances). Standard benefits like NPS, Gratuity, Medical and LTA apply.
📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The recruitment comprises three phases — Prelims (Phase-I), Mains (Phase-II) and Interview. The consolidated weightage is Mains + Interview (75:25).
Phase-I — Preliminary (100 marks)
- English Language — 30 Qs (30 marks)
- Reasoning Ability — 35 Qs (35 marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude — 35 Qs (35 marks)

Phase-II — Main (Objective 200 + Descriptive 30)
Mains includes Reasoning, English, Quant, General Awareness and specialist technical test (for specialist streams). Descriptive (30 marks) — Letter & Essay (English) — is typed online and must be qualified (marks not counted towards final merit but qualifying required).
Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer in objective papers.
